Example:
Seven Layer Salad
1 head fresh lettuce, torn
1 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
Salt & pepper to taste
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
Sugar to taste
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 lb. bacon, cooked, crumbled
1 c. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
6 eggs, hard-cooked, sliced
1/2 c. cheese, shredded
Place lettuce in a 3-quart bowl; sprinkle with salt, pepper, sugar and add bacon. Arrange eggs over lettuce and sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar. Over eggs, layer peas, onion and celery (in that order). Spread salad dressing over top, sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Cover and chill overnight. Yield: 10-12 servings.
